This lady is fleeing from the eruption and we see what she has taken with her and it shows us what's important to her.
The Golden Bracelet
Skeleton of a lady wearing two rings and two bracelets. One of the skeletons found on the beach included one that has been dubbed The Ring Lady. As can been seen in this photo, she had an emerald and a ruby ring on her fingers when she collapsed on the beach.
Analysis: This shows the skeleton of a victim of the eruption. Unlike the casts from Pompeii which show the poses of the people, the bones can reveal other details and don't show the entire body. The discovery of skeletons shows that like many other artefacts at Pompeii, the remains were preserved by the lava and ash.
Conclusions: Ancient Romans whether they were poor or wealthy, they all had a home. This skeleton in particular was a wealthy woman who owned gold jewellery, possibly very expensive jewellery. If you were rich, you could buy slaves and they were forever yours until the day they became too old or have run away. The woman may have the jewellery with her because she was trying to escape and wanted to take her jewellery with her as it was valuable. This shows there may have been warning from the large smoke clouds and alarmed some people. This skeleton is significant because it shows the different social classes in society. Other important evidence can also be collected from the bones such as DNA.
